I underwent a spiffy little blocking process with my tank. I picked up a tip to soak coarse acrylics in hair conditioner before blocking. I usually don't desire to use acrylic yarns but, when I want to make a quick project for myself to break from custom projects, I grab a cheap skein and ruuuun for it! I was a bit apprehensive with testing this hypothesis because, well it's HAIR CONDITIONER, (I mean c'mon) and I have highly sensitive skin. Plus, I like my spray bottle blocking method. I wasn't looking forward to spending a day or two waiting for this tank to dry after submerging it into a sink of water. I'm so ready to wear it!

I figured, why not? What's the worst that could go wrong with an acrylic fiber, right. Well, about a fourth cup of cheap conditioner, hot water, 30 mins of soaking, rinsing until my water was clear (ugh) and 24 hours of drying, it's softer and smells good too!

I'm an antsy person so I wouldn't suggest cutting this time at all. Nor is it a tremendous difference, but it is noticeably bearable against my skin. I want to soak it for at least an hour before it goes in the wash each laundry day. I declare this my official summer tank top (well, one of many to come)
Now, about my neckline....
