Halloween is one of my favorite holidays, simply because: I LOVE CANDY! I love seeing children in costumes, and seeing all of the creative decorations that families have put their time and effort into for the neighborhood enjoyment. From the front yards, to the party themes, it's all so awesome to me. Halloween is like the holiday that Fall comes out of the closet, literally. the hay stacks, scarecrows, pumpkins, colorful leaves. The decor is just cozy and beautiful. The smells of festive recipes, desserts, and drinks. I could go on and on, just know that I love Fall! I normally don't get around to stitches themed for the holiday, but I've decided to change that. I bought a few new colors back in late August and I'm currently putting them to use. I hope to have enough items whipped up by the end of Friday to consign a few things or perhaps even take down to the market by Saturday. Wish me luck. Here's a glimpse of what I've started early this morning, just after midnight (which seems to be my peak crafting hours).
