Hey Everyone,
I'm having the toughest time blogging from the Blogger app. I haven't forgotten about you all! So, a quick recap of my past two Fridays: Weekend before last, I scoured Wal-Mart looking for a folding table at a reasonable price ($20 max) to use in the Artist Market over at Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment Studios. Every Saturday from noon to 4 p.m., local artists get a chance to sell their handmade goods to the public. This is usually free but with the upcoming holidays, a small fee is required. So, with no luck on finding a table at the last minute, I decided to use a laundry rack and it worked out great. The other artists as well as shoppers loved the concept of hanging my items with clothes pins! It was such an exciting experience networking with other craftsman of needlepoint, swapping tips and tricks. I was completely satisfied with paying 5 bucks and walking away with $40. Can't wait to do it again.
p.s. guess what I found at Big Lots last night? A $20 table.
