What is the Deal!?
I feel like I'm going through the breaks this week. I haven't been able to use my laptop for sometime now. The battery charger port is broken, therefore my charger is useless! I ordered an exterior battery charger in January. That lasted long enough for me to finish up Spring semester! So, I've been blogging from my phone. It's not totally bad, not until I'm ready to upload pictures! Some days it works well for me therefore, I won't complain too much. My next alternative, the public library (which serves as my second home) was unsuccessful because I lost my library card. Sure, I can trouble one of the clerks for my number and pin, it's just that once I misplace something, I don't rest until I find it! (come back home, card. whatever it is, we can work it out!) I could always drive a few extra miles and blog at the school library. I'll have more computer time.
Enough rambling! I made a cowl yesterday. No pattern just crocheted seven swatches using a single crochet-double crochet combo (a.k.a. Seed Stitch). I love the colors together and the texture it reveals. I will definitely be doing more of these!
**a swatch is basically a sample of the pattern, a 4x4 sq in. My cowl design, using a light worsted yarn and a size 8 hook, is 15 stitches and 17 rows.
